Author bio

My name is Brad Mattor. Born and raised in the heart of New York City, I’ve spent the last four decades navigating the intricate world of finance, gradually evolving into an expert in gold investing.

In 1980, straight out of high school, I was captivated by the buzzing energy of NYC’s financial district. I could feel the pull of the finance world, leading me to pursue my undergraduate degree in finance at the Stern School of Business, New York University. The knowledge I gained during these formative years would later become the cornerstone of my career.

After graduating in 1984, I plunged into the professional sphere, starting as an entry-level analyst at a mid-sized Wall Street firm. It was here that I was first introduced to gold investing. Though it wasn’t my main focus, the world of gold intrigued me.

Recognizing the potential for growth through education, I took a leap of faith and pursued an MBA from Columbia Business School, specializing in Investment Management. This academic journey, coupled with my hands-on experience, refined my financial acumen.

The 1987 stock market crash was a game-changer for me. I watched the financial turmoil and took note of gold’s role as a safe haven for investors. This sparked my interest in gold investing, leading me to delve deeper into the market and its potential as a reliable store of value.

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, I held key positions in several prestigious financial institutions across the United States, gaining a reputation for my prowess in investment strategy and asset allocation. All the while, I continued to focus on the gold market, conducting thorough research and developing strategies that consistently outperformed the market.

The 2008 financial crisis further solidified my belief in gold’s role as a sound investment. In the wake of the crisis, I decided to specialize exclusively in gold investing, using my knowledge to advise on gold investment strategies. I championed gold’s role in portfolio diversification and as a hedge against economic uncertainty.

Today, at the age of 61, I am recognized as a leading expert in gold investing, sharing my insights with individual investors, financial institutions, and media outlets. My journey from a young man in New York City to becoming a respected authority in my field is a testament to my resilience, dedication, and unwavering belief in gold’s power as an investment.
